I had dabbled in painting for a number of years when in the year 2000 I began to do Figurative Art pieces. I spent about 5 or 6 years focused on learning about and practicing in this medium. I then began to move back into painting which has evolved, almost exclusively, into non- objective Abstracts.
In addition to considerable personal research and self-training, I have received instruction from several well known and respected artists . Since the individual artists have different methods and areas of expertise, I have been able to learn the use of various techniques plus various types of materials and products..
Professional Memberships include:
Northwest Art League
Tomball Art League
Lone Star Art Guild
Represented by Morton Street Gallery
As a result, my Art Figures and my paintings reflect a composite of my personal creativity and experience plus the influence of those with whom I have studied.
